A PETG grade formulated for faster deposition when time in the machine is part of the decision.
PETG-HF
What it’s for
Functional prototypes, Brackets and mounts, Replacement parts, Jigs and fixtures, Test fixtures, Bench tooling, Short-run production. We choose the final route against the geometry and service environment, not from the material name alone.
Key characteristics
- 01Its flow behaviour is tuned for higher-throughput printing.
- 02That preserves PETG-like utility while favouring faster builds.
- 03It benefits from profiles matched to the geometry rather than a generic speed setting.
- 04Use it for functional prototypes and repeatable utility parts.
In our shop
We only use the faster profile after checking that the part’s surfaces and bridges can take it.
For a visible enclosure, we still choose the profile around finish first.
Relative profile
These are relative positions within this catalogue, not material-property measurements.
- Stiffness
- Toughness
- Heat resistance
- Chemical resistance
- Printability
- Cost
Printing notes
- Minimum nozzle
- 0.4 mm or larger
- Hardened nozzle
- Not required
- Heated chamber
- Not required
- Drying
- Selected by material condition
- Soluble support
- PVA or BVOH
Design notes
- Separate cosmetic faces from utilitarian faces in the brief.
- Allow room for support removal around internal ledges.
Technical values appear only after we approve a datasheet for the exact spool in use. If a specific property determines the job, tell us and we will discuss the material route.
