Privacy
The substance below is accurate for what this site does today. The registered identity of the data controller, and the supervisory authority you can complain to, are not stated yet — see each section. Everything else here describes what actually happens to what you send us.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Opus Aether Manufacturing. Our registered entity details are not published here yet; email ai@opusaether.com and we will give them to you in writing.
What we collect
- What you type into the request form: your name, email, company, quantity, target date, material preference, the description of the part, and its intended end use.
- Your confirmation that you have the right to have the part manufactured.
- Any geometry, drawings or correspondence you send us by email.
- Cookie preferences, stored in your browser.
Why
To review your request, decide whether we can make the part, quote it, and produce it. That is the performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data, we do not use your geometry to train anything, we do not use it as a reference for other customers’ work, and we do not publish it.
Who else sees it
Our hosting and email providers, as processors. Where a job is reviewed or sourced through an assessed partner, the same confidentiality obligation is passed on before anything is shared, and we will tell you when that applies to your part.
How long we keep it
Order records, for as long as tax and contract law require. For enquiries that do not become orders we have not set a fixed retention period yet, so treat it as: ask us to delete something and we will, unless we are required to keep it. That request always works, and it is the part that actually affects you.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email ai@opusaether.com. You also have the right to complain to the data-protection supervisory authority for our jurisdiction; ask us and we will tell you which one that is and how to reach it.
