Test fixtures

A test setup has to put the same object in the same place, keep instruments accessible, and make errors obvious to the operator.

Materials we would shortlist

1. PA6-CF

   A first shortlist where fixture stiffness is the primary concern.

2. PET-CF

   Considered for an engineering fixture review.

3. PETG

   Considered where the fixture brief is less demanding.

Envelope considerations

A test fixture can be broken into locating, support and instrument-access elements when that keeps each function clear.
