- Name the substance, concentration, contact duration and temperature range in the request.
- Identify whether the part seals, contains, guides or merely sits near the substance.
- Do not infer suitability from a material family name. The service environment is reviewed per part.
Envelope considerations
Where a part must be segmented, the joint is assessed against the declared exposure rather than assumed acceptable.
