This matters as much as the feature list. Choosing the wrong process can make the part less useful before material and geometry are even reviewed.
- Parts whose priority is strength and function. FDM remains the primary process for that work.
- A route where automatic support generation is expected.
How we handle it
Our tooling analyses the STL geometry and keeps review checks visible. It does not auto-generate supports, exposure profiles or machine files. Support layout and exposure work are completed by hand, giving the person preparing the part direct control over both decisions.
The manual handoff is deliberate. It keeps support and exposure decisions in the hands of the person preparing the part.
How to choose
Start with the part’s priority. Choose FDM when strength and function lead. Choose resin when fine detail and surface finish lead. If both matter, send the geometry and describe the result that matters most; we will make the trade-off visible in review.
