Enclosures
A body has to hold its contents, accept connectors and fasteners, and leave room for assembly without making the enclosure needlessly heavy.
Design notes for this job
- Put connector, switch and display cut-outs on faces that can be measured and checked after the build.
- Use local screw landings and insert zones instead of making the entire wall thick.
- Tell us which faces mate with another part so orientation can be reviewed around them.
Envelope considerations
A long enclosure may be easier to split at a service seam than to treat as one uninterrupted shell. We review the seam and fastener plan with the geometry.
