Return to the homepageSingle-nozzle, enclosed, heated chamber
The H2S is the single-nozzle member of the enclosed fleet and carries the largest published single-piece envelope. It is the straightforward route when a part needs a held chamber but does not need a separate support material.
The figures on this page are manufacturer specifications for the machine named. They are not measured by us and are not a guarantee of part performance.
We reach for it on engineering and fibre-reinforced work that benefits from the chamber being held during the build, especially when a larger one-piece geometry makes splitting the part an unnecessary compromise.
The largest single-piece envelope we have, and the machine we reach for on engineering and fibre-reinforced materials that need the chamber held to stay flat.
It is the right machine for a material whose catalogue entry requires a heated chamber, provided the selected nozzle and the part orientation also fit the job. A large part is not automatically an H2S part; support strategy and feature direction still matter.
The decision is recorded in the feasibility response, together with any issue that would change the design route. If the selected single-piece envelope is not enough, we discuss segmentation, keys and bonding before production rather than treating the machine limit as a hidden constraint.
