The A1 farm is the open-frame part of the fleet. Its job is not to imitate a heated-chamber machine. It provides a clear route for parts whose chosen material and geometry do not require that enclosed condition.
The figures on this page are manufacturer specifications for the machine named. They are not measured by us and are not a guarantee of part performance.
We use it for repeat work that can run in parallel after the file, material and build approach have been reviewed. It can also be the sensible route for a one-off when the requirement is a good fit for an open-frame machine.
Quantity on materials that do not need a held chamber. This is where a repeat order of the same file runs in parallel rather than sequentially.
It is right for catalogue materials not marked as requiring a heated chamber. That distinction is intentional: we do not move a chamber-dependent material onto an open-frame machine merely because the model fits its envelope.
The decision is recorded in the feasibility response, together with any issue that would change the design route. If the selected single-piece envelope is not enough, we discuss segmentation, keys and bonding before production rather than treating the machine limit as a hidden constraint.
