Cable management
Cables need a defined route, clearance at connectors, and strain relief where the assembly moves or is serviced.
Design notes for this job
- Model the connectors and cable bend path, not just the nominal cable diameter.
- Leave installation access for clips, ties and service removal.
- Use separate compliant elements where they make a routing part easier to replace.
Envelope considerations
Long routing trays can be segmented at mounting points. We review joint placement against the cable path and service access.
